Chester Performs is a professional producer of arts events and projects in and around Chester. We create, produce, and stage theatre, film, music, performance art and spectacular community events. Our annual programme includes Screen Deva – one of the UK’s newest film and digital media festivals, Up the Wall – a site specific, installation and live art festival along Chester’s ancient city walls, and SOAPBOX – a regular programme of contemporary performance and film presented in usual spaces. Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre is the newest addition to our year-long, exciting programme, and is set to transform the summer landscape of the city.
