Welcome to Chester Performs

Our job is to drive the development of the performing arts in and around Chester.  In 2008 we staged 46 events and festivals to over 15,000 people.  Our projects are made and presented overwhelmingly by local artists and individuals.  Over 200 artists, nearly 1000 individuals and 700 school children contributed directly to making our work.

We are also here to drive the debate and lead the development of a new performing arts centre for Chester.  The city is without a serious arts building and we are working towards building one which will acheive a national reputation for Chester.
